Characteristic

The perfect grinder, which allows you to have freshly crushed pepper or salt at hand immediately, or even two kinds of unique Kampot pepper at once.

In no time, you can unleash a game of incredible flavors and scents of pepper in your kitchen, which is part of Package.

The set includes our double grinder and two basic types of Kampot pepper. The grinder combines quality materials, practicality, and a successful design. Its greatest feature is its construction, which contains two chambers and two grinding mechanisms. It can thus be filled with two types of Kampot pepper or pepper and salt from Kampot, making it a very practical tool for cooking or seasoning dishes directly at the table.

The body of the grinder is 23 centimeters high and fits perfectly in the hand. For maximum practicality, each end is equipped with a special lid to always preserve the freshness of the pepper and prevent any impurities from entering.

This set also includes two 20g Package of individual types of Kampot pepper of your choice. You can choose between black, red, and white. They differ in taste and aroma, which you can hardly find in pepper bought in regular supermarkets.

Black pepper releases tones of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme when ground, accompanied by the scent of lime peel. These gradually transition into a coastal aroma with developing fruity tones. The dominant aroma is of peach and nectarine, accompanied by the scent of pine and earthy tones of Cambodian mountain soil full of minerals.

Rare red pepper is an explosion of fruity tones with a milder spiciness. Initially, tones of rose and rosehip dominate, which subsequently transition into dried cherries. After two to three minutes, more characteristic scents for Kampot pepper begin to develop, such as citrus fruits, dried mandarins, and the earthier crust of sourdough bread.

White pepper is a gentle, yet still peppery caress for the taste buds. When ground, scents of camphor, sage, and cedarwood develop, accompanied by the subtle aroma of nutmeg flower, grapefruits, and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you can taste tones of nutmeg, thyme flower, and lemon balm, underpinned by the aroma of cedar and black tea.

Grinding mechanism

Inside the grinder, there are two ceramic mechanisms called CeraCut®.

This is a technology developed in Germany that ensures pepper and salt are always crushed with absolute perfection. The coarseness of the grind can be adjusted on each grinder, with the mechanism able to crush peppercorns or salt crystals up to 5 millimeters in size.

Maintenance

By adjusting the grind size of the pepper, you influence its flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the taste of the pepper will be. Conversely, larger fragments will impart more of the specific exotic tones of Kampot pepper to the dish.

When filling the grinder, never use bare hands, but pour the restless peppercorns directly from the package into the chamber, using a spoon or funnel to help. Also, remember to clean your grinder regularly. However, never use water or chemical agents for this. A cloth is sufficient, along with a brush and a drop of olive oil. Always keep the grinder away from the sink and handle it carefully over steam as well.

Materials

For the production of this grinder, we used acacia wood with a perfect grain, which will become an ornament of any kitchen counter or dining table.

For this reason, we kept the wood's natural color and only treated it with a protective lacquer. We combined the wood with stainless steel, ensuring the grinder's extreme durability, which will last you a lifetime with proper care.
