Characteristic

A perfect grinder that gives you instant access to freshly crushed pepper or salt, or even two types of unique Kampot pepper at once.

In no time, you can unleash a game of incredible flavors and aromas of pepper in your kitchen, which is part of Package.

The set includes our double grinder and two basic types of Kampot pepper. The grinder combines quality materials, practicality, and a successful design. Its biggest feature is its construction, which includes two chambers and two grinding mechanisms. It can thus be filled with two types of Kampot pepper or pepper and salt from Kampot, making it a very practical tool for cooking or seasoning dishes directly at the table.

The body of the grinder is 23 centimeters high and fits perfectly in the hand. For maximum practicality, each end is equipped with a special cap to always maintain the freshness of the pepper and prevent any impurities from penetrating.

This set also includes two 20g Package of individual types of Kampot pepper of your choice. You can choose between black, red, and white. They differ in their taste and aroma, which you will hardly find in pepper bought in regular supermarkets.

Black pepper when ground releases tones of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme accompanied by the scent of lime peel. These gradually transition into a seaside aroma with developing fruity notes. The dominant aroma is peach and nectarine, accompanied by the scent of pine and earthy tones of Cambodian mountain soil full of minerals.

Rare red pepper is an explosion of fruity tones with a milder spiciness. Initially, the tones of rose and rosehip dominate, which then transition into dried cherries. After two to three minutes, more characteristic scents for Kampot pepper begin to develop, such as citrus fruits, dried mandarins, and the earthier crust of sourdough bread.

White pepper is a gentle, yet still peppery caress of the taste buds. When ground, the scents of camphor, sage, and cedarwood unfold, accompanied by the subtle aroma of nutmeg flower, grapefruits, and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you can feel tones of nutmeg, thyme flower, and lemon balm underlined by the aroma of cedar and black tea.

Grinding mechanism

Inside the grinder, there are two ceramic mechanisms called CeraCut®.

This is a technology developed in Germany that ensures pepper and salt are always crushed with absolute perfection. The coarseness of the grind can be adjusted on each grinder, and the mechanism can crush peppercorns or salt crystals up to 5 millimeters in size.

Maintenance

By adjusting the grind size of the pepper, you influence its flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the taste of the pepper will be. Conversely, larger fragments will impart more of the specific exotic tones of Kampot pepper to the dish.

When filling the grinder, never use bare hands, but pour the restless balls directly from the package into the chamber, and help yourself with a spoon or funnel. At the same time, don't forget to regularly cleanyour grinder. However, never use water or chemical agents for this. A cloth, a brush, and a drop of olive oil are enough. Always keep the grinder away from the sink and be careful with its operation over steam.

Materials

For the production of this grinder, we used acacia wood with a perfect grain, which will become an ornament of any kitchen counter or dining table.

For this reason, we left the wood in its natural color and only treated it with a protective varnish. We combined the wood with stainless steel, ensuring the grinder's extreme durability, which will last you a lifetime with proper handling.
