In just a few moments, you can unleash an explosion of incredible flavors and aromas in your kitchen, thanks to the Kampot pepper included in this set.

The set includes our double grinder and two essential Kampot pepper varieties.The grinder combines high-quality materials, practicality, and stylish design. Its biggest advantage is its clever construction featuring two chambers and two grinding mechanisms, allowing it to be filled with two types of Kampot pepper or Kampot pepper and salt. This makes it a highly functional tool for cooking or seasoning directly at the table.

The body of the grinder is 23 cm tall and fits comfortably in your hand. For maximum practicality, both ends are equipped with special caps to keep the pepper fresh and protect it from any dirt.

Also included in the set are two 20g packs of Kampot pepper of your choice.You can select from black, red, or white pepper, each offering a unique flavor and aroma not found in standard supermarket varieties.

Black pepper, once ground, releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme, accompanied by the scent of lime peel. These gradually shift into a seaside aroma with developing fruity tones. The dominant scent is that of peach and nectarine, supported by pine and the earthy notes of mineral-rich Cambodian mountain soil.

Rare red pepper is an explosion of fruity tones with a gentler heat. It begins with notes of rose and rosehip, which evolve into dried cherry. After two to three minutes, typical Kampot pepper aromas start to emerge, such as citrus fruits, dried mandarins, and the earthy crust of sourdough bread.

White pepper delivers a gentle yet spicy caress to the palate. Upon grinding, it reveals scents of camphor, sage, and cedarwood, accompanied by a delicate aroma of mace, grapefruit, and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you’ll detect nutmeg, thyme blossom, and lemon balm, underpinned by the aroma of cedar and black tea.

Grinding mechanism

There are two CeraCut® ceramic machines inside the grinder.

This is a technology developed in Denmark that guarantees that the pepper and salt are always ground to absolute perfection. The coarseness of grinding can be adjusted for each grinder, while the machine can grind peppercorns or salt crystals up to 5 millimeters in size.

Maintenance

By adjusting the coarseness of the grind, you influence the pepper’s flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the pepper’s taste will be. Conversely, larger fragments will release more of Kampot pepper’s unique exotic tones into the dish.

When refilling the grinder, never use bare hands, instead pour the loose peppercorns directly into the chamber from the package using a spoon or funnel. Don’t forget to clean your grinder regularly. Never use water or chemical cleaners for this. A cloth, a small brush, and a drop of olive oil will do. Always keep the grinder away from the sink and be careful when using it above steam.

Materials

For the production of this grinder, we used acacia wood with a perfect pattern, which will become an ornament of any kitchen counter or dining table.

For this reason, we left the wood in its natural color and only treated it with a protective varnish. We have combined wood with stainless steel, thanks to which the extreme durability of the grinder is guaranteed, which if handled correctly will last you forever.
