Frequently asked questions

Kampot pepper is unique in that each color tastes completely different, which is why it goes well with different types of dishes. It is therefore excellent for so-called food pairings, where you can combine one or two types of pepper. Don't be afraid to experiment - in the end, it's up to you which combination you like the most!

We only sell whole peppercorns. Grind the pepper to your taste. If you want a sharp taste, grind finely, if you want to feel the real taste of each pepper, choose a coarser grind - the result is fantastic! We have whole pepper because only in this way we can preserve 100% freshness, quality and taste, just like you would be in Cambodia on one of our plantations.

The grinding mechanism can grind even coarse salt. We do not recommend grinding peppers or other spices in it, as the grinder will clog. The same goes for our freeze-dried pepper (due to the salt content, it is much softer and more fragile), which should be crushed in a mortar or used whole balls.

The pepper we supply is hand-packed under strict control in the Czech Republic no later than 1 month before sale, which is reflected in its taste. We bring fresh pepper from Cambodia immediately after harvest, carefully vacuum-packed kilo by kilo. We do not know of any other company in the world that would approach the control and preservation of the quality of Kampot pepper in such a precise manner.

Kampot pepper has received the exceptional PGI - Protected Geographical Indication - certification, which declares that the Kampot region in Cambodia is the best pepper growing region in the world. This is the same as other protected products such as genuine Champagne.

We are currently looking for premises for a brick-and-mortar store. Until then, you can meet us at various food festivals, specific locations will be announced on our Facebook or Instagram in due course.

We ship goods within the second business day, engraving within a week. Delivery in the Czech Republic is usually the next business day after shipment. Delivery time is proportional to the workload of individual transport companies (e.g. during holidays).

In most cases, the order is prepared the same day, but if you order in the afternoon, it will be prepared the following day.

The white color you can see on the surface of the freeze-dried pepper is caused by the brine from the true flower of salt, used to preserve the fresh green pepper during transport from Cambodia to the Czech Republic to preserve its maximum freshness.
