You wished for it so much, and we really delivered on time.

Because to come up with a perfect crusher, or rather, a crusher, is not just any. We present to you our first crusher, which will finally grind all types of Kampot pepper and become the only tool for everything!

What is innovative about it? It is the antithesis of enormous kitchen crushers. It has only 10cm, fits perfectly into the palm and instead of a classic pestle, it has a beautiful ergonomic handle that prevents pepper from "spilling" outside the crusher. Thanks to high-quality cast iron and acacia wood it is, however, strong and heavy and can also handle crushing on the table. On the bottom, it features smart rubber ridges, which literally stick the crusher to any surface!

It was made for us by Danish CrushGrind® - thus it comes from the same quality, design, and tradition, as all our grinders. It loves Kampot pepper, but also various spices; just avoid salt, which does not get along with cast iron. The design is inspired by Asia and is very minimalist so that it fits into both classic and modern kitchens.

Grinding mechanism

You can use the grinder on Kampot for pepper, spices and herbs.

If you decide to use salt as well, be sure to rinse and treat the grinder thoroughly after use, otherwise it could rust!

Maintenance

Cast iron is structurally sound and resistant to mechanical damage.

With proper care, quality cast iron mortar can serve for several generations. Before its first use, the mortar wash it with a sponge in hot water, however without using detergents. The washed mortar is thoroughly dried, then treated with edible oil, heated, and afterwards wiped with a paper towel. This process can be repeated once more. In this way, the mortar will be ready for its first use. Completely it is inadvisable to wash the mortar in the dishwasher. The cleaning agent would seep into the pores and "ruin" the taste of food. For this reason, do not use any detergents. Cast iron cookware does not contain any chemicals and is non-stick.
