Just like .pepper..field supports Cambodian farmers, Wild & Coco is also closely linked to Thai families from whom it purchases coconuts under fair conditions and strives to improve their socioeconomic situation.

The coconut pulp is revitalized by carefully selected probiotic strains. The coconuts come from Thai coconut groves where their cultivation is approached with a completely ecological method, similar to the case of Kampot pepper..

Ingredients

Red Kampot pepper, which you will find in the product, is a specialty of the Kampot plantations.

On these plantations, the pepper berries are allowed to ripen until they reach a vivid red color full of fructose. They are then harvested and sun-dried, thereby acquiring their characteristic dark red hue.

The rare red pepper is an explosion of fruity tones with a milder spiciness. Initially, notes of wild rose and rosehip dominate, which subsequently give way to dried cherries. After two to three minutes, more distinctive aromas develop for the Kampot pepper, such as citrus fruits, dried tangerines, and an earthier crust of sourdough bread.

Ingredients: Coconut syrup 47%, dried coconut beverage 22.5% (coconut flesh extract 97%, tapioca starch, acacia fiber), roasted coconut paste 21.5%, cashew nuts 6%, red Kampot pepper 3%.

The caramelade combines a sweet and spicy taste of young fermented organic coconut and caramel, to which we added a dash of red Kampot pepper.

During fermentation, the coconut pulp gains probiotic components, thanks to which it has a positive effect on health and the balance of the intestinal microbiome. It thus helps to balance hormonal fluctuations, reduce fatigue and stress, and aids in the treatment of inflammations. This is a completely vegan product, so even those with lactose intolerance and all plant-based food enthusiasts can enjoy the probiotics in this form.

Usage

The taste of caramel sauce with pepper is so unique that we aren’t afraid to call it your new umami, which can even appeal to those who aren’t really into sweets.

Thanks to that, it can be used in a thousand ways. Feel free to marinate tempeh, tofu, or any other protein in it.
